Kod Red (pronounced code red) is a team participating in the F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Competition. This is a national program where high school teams work with engineers from local industries to design, build, test and operate a robot in a sports-like environment. Last year Kod Red, a team from Fairport High School and the Eastman Kodak Company placed seventh in the nation at the annual championship held in Disney World.
